| Vibration and aeration is required even for easy to move particles. In its high frequency vibration mode, Vibracone is in near equilibrium with the product. It's amplitude is about 1/32 of an inch. Flow is steady with no wear on the bin cone. |
During start-up, the material could be compacted so as to form a bridge over the cone or a slug can develop during operations. Vibracone seeks equilibrium with the pressure exerted against it. As pressure builds, Vibracone increases its amplitude to send shock waves into the material until free flow is restored. |
Once flowing again, Vibracone returns to normal operating mode. Vibracone vibrating action continues and can be configured for no release of air into the material. |
